CHERRY ORCHARD FOODS NEWSLETTER

October 3, 2007

Wow! It's been a busy summer for Cherry Orchard Foods! We
were at the Clermont County Fair, the Springfield Antique
Show Extravaganza both in May and September, and the
Clinton County Corn Festival. We were supposed to be at the
Antique Machinery Show in Georgetown, Ohio, but the heat
wave kept temperatures in the mid-nineties and we had to
bail out. We also were at the Lebanon Farmer's Market every
Thursday until the heat wave hit. What a wonderful time I
have at the Farmer's Market. It was really a tough year
though for the farmers. No rain meant no crops. I hope next
year is better for them. I'm going to try to get into
another farmer's market next summer also. I'll keep you
posted on that.

Next summer we intend to be in the Coney Island
Appalachian Festival, A Taste of Clermont and the
Waynesville Sauerkraut Festival.

We just finished doing the Lebanon Applefest. What a crowd.
My wife had to make a special trip to bring me more
pretzels (for tasting the sample dips and dessert
mixes) because I was running out. The people just kept
coming and coming. Fortunately, they were also buying and
buying our products too. I get such a kick making products
that people taste and go, "Wow!". The fact that they like
the products enough to buy them comes as quite a compliment
to me. The product I get the most response to is our
runaway best seller - Garlic Lover. My customers go crazy
for this seasoning mix.

Coming up next is the Kentucky Wool Festival, the Lewis
Mountain Herb Faire, Minges Pumpkin Festival, and many high
school craft shows including Colerain, Hamilton, Sycamore,
Amelia, Milford and Ross.

All during the summer we've been working on new, exciting
flavors for you. I just introduced Horseradish Heaven at
the Applefest last week. It was a runaway hit. There are
some flavors that just can't miss and horseradish is one of
them. (Garlic is obviously another.) Also, customers are
asking for more and more hot, spicy dip mixes. So,we will
soon be coming out with Spicey Jalapeno. I'm also working
on another Dessert Mix. Maybe Pina Colada. Maybe something
else. I just have to keep tweaking and tweaking these
recipes until I get each one just right.

We have also come out with a brand new product - Microwave
Pork Rinds. I don't know of anywhere else you can buy this
wonderful product. Because you cook them in the microwave,
like microwave popcorn, they are not deep fried like the
ones in the store. Therefore, they have 60% less fat, 70%
less salt, zero carbs and 30 calories less per serving than
the deep fried kind. Wonderful for low carb diets or anyone
wanting to stay healthy and watch their weight. Just put a
small handful in a paper lunch bag in the microwave for a
minute and a half and presto. These small pellets puff up
into delicious pork rinds that taste exactly like the
traditional kind except they are far less salty.

I finished this website ten days ago as of this writing. In
that short amount of time, the sales of Microwave Pork
Rinds has gone through the roof. It caught me so off guard,
I wasn't ready with the proper packaging in which to ship
them. I don't mind these kinds of problems though.

That's all for now. Got to get back to work. Thanks for
signing up for our newsletter. Hope to see you at one of
our events soon. However, remember you can always order
online at our website: www.cherryorchardfoods.com

Have a wonderful fall season!
